Kasey Kahne survived a wild ride during the first night of the Summer Nationals Friday at Williams Grove Speedway. The Enumclaw, Wash., driver was running the high side when a hard charging Craig Dollansky dove below him and began to slide up the racing surface.
"I saw Craig start to drift up towards me," said Kahne, who was running near the front of the pack during the second heat race. "He did something similar to me at Limaland (Motorsports Park) and I was able to get on the brakes. It still put me up into the wall and messed with us a bit. There wasn't anything I was able to do this time around though. I got wrecked and that happens sometimes in racing. I'm alright but I haven't flipped in a race car like that in awhile."
Kahne did manage to walk away from the incident that sent his car over the wall in turn four. However, his #49 Ollie's Bargain Outlets machine was beyond repair. Kahne scratched from the event and the car was thrown away. Check out the video below to see Kahne's wreck at Williams Grove.

Brooke Tatnell
Brookes #59 Machine at Knoxville Raceway
Son of former Australian Sprintcar and Speedcar Champion George Tatnell, Brooke is the epitome of a Professional Sprintcar Driver. He races the entire year, with little to no break. In Australia, he races in the World Series Sprintcars Championship, along with stand-alone events such as the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic in Warrnambool, The Outlaws Down Under at his home track, Parramatta City Raceway, and The Australian Sprintcar Title, held at various tracks around the country. In America, he races in the ultra-competitive and gruelling World of Outlaws Series. One of the most successful Australian Sprintcar Drivers in history, Brooke has won 5 World Series Sprintcars Championships, including over 50 individual rounds of the Series, together with multiple Grand Annual Sprintcar Classics. But it was the Australian Sprintcar Title that he wanted, the one race that had eluded him for 17 years.
His dream came true in February 2005, when Brooke became the Australian Sprintcar Champion after winning an enthralling A-Main at Murray Bridge Speedway in South Australia.
Brooke is arguably the most passionate and dedicated driver in the country, and a self-confessed "ego maniac". He raced for his family team, Tatnell Motorsport, for many years, until sponsorship issues forced him into finding an alternative drive, which led him to Krikke Motorsports for the 2005/2006 Australian Season, a combination which will be exciting to watch and hard to beat.
Brooke is the consummate professional, and one of the most popular drivers in the field, his family name synonymous with Australian Speedway. Very down-to-earth and approachable, and with a great sense of humour, he always makes himself available to meet fans, sign autographs and have a chat.
He is a great ambassador for Sprintcar Racing, and a true Champion.
Brooke is starting to prove himself in the most advanced sprintcar teams in the world. he will be a good driver to hire and work with for years and still have fun.

Donny Schatz wins fifth Knoxville Nationals
Donny Schatz wasted little time finding his way to the front of the 51st Goodyear Knoxville Nationals on Saturday night at historic Knoxville Raceway. Normally a driver who excels in the latter stages of a race, the four-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion quickly charged from 13th to fifth, then set his sights on the lead of the $150,000-to-win, 50-lap main event.
Schatz Talks About his WIN.
